Dr. Jason Kirby

Medical Director

Dr.  is a passionate leader in the field of Addiction Medicine for the past decade, being recently honored as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Society ofAddiction Medicine (ASAM) and is currently finishing his term as the President of the Tennessee Society of Addiction Medicine. He was elected ASAM's Treasurer and will begin his two-year term on the Executive Board in April of 2025 and sit as Chairman of ASAMs Finance Committee during that time. He is an expert in population health policy, healthcare economics, evidence-based outcomes-oriented addiction medicine, quality initiatives, and human behavior. He is dual board-certified in Addiction Medicine from the American Board of Preventive Medicine and Family Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine. He received his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and his MBA from Point Park University. Currently, Dr. Kirby is a 2024-2025 Health Policy Fellow in the American Academy of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM)’s Health Policy Fellowship gaining skills to affect healthcare policies on the local, state, and federal levels. He is also currently serving roles on ASAM's Steering, Conference Planning, and Levels of Care Committees, and co-authored ASAM Criteria 4th Edition’s Medical Management in Residential Treatment chapter.
